You Haven’t Failed—Your Body and Your Needs May Have Changed

Weight loss is rarely a straight line. Hunger can return. Progress can slow. Life, medications, hormonal changes, stress, sleep, insulin resistance, and loss of muscle mass can all influence your results.

For bariatric patients, the rapid-loss phase eventually ends—and many are left without the long-term medical support they need. Regain or a prolonged plateau does not erase your progress or mean your bariatric tool has stopped working. It may simply mean it’s time for additional support.

This program may be right for you if:

  • You’ve regained weight after sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass.

  • Your weight loss has stalled despite your efforts.

  • Hunger, cravings, or food noise have returned.

  • You had surgery elsewhere and no longer have postoperative support.

  • You’re considering bariatric surgery and want informed medical guidance.

  • Midlife or menopausal changes have made weight management more difficult.

  • You’re concerned about insulin resistance or other metabolic risk factors.

  • You want to explore GLP-1 or non-GLP-1 medication options.

  • You’re tired of programs that only provide a prescription.

  • You want compassionate care without judgment, shame, or unrealistic expectations.

Your original tool may still work. You may simply need a new strategy for this stage of your journey.

The Provider I Needed After Bariatric Surgery

Nearly 11 years ago, I underwent sleeve gastrectomy after my insurance denied coverage. I traveled to Mexico for surgery and returned home without the structured follow-up, education, and long-term support that every bariatric patient deserves.

At the time, I was a registered nurse, but I still found myself navigating many parts of recovery and long-term weight management on my own.

Today, I’m a family nurse practitioner with more than seven years of obesity-medicine experience. I’ve helped patients manage weight-loss plateaus, postoperative regain, nutritional concerns, medication options, and the emotional complexity that can accompany a lifelong weight journey.

I understand this experience from both sides—as a patient who has lived it and as a medical provider who treats it.

I created the kind of weight-management care I wish I had when I returned home after surgery.

Comprehensive Care That Looks Beyond the Scale

  • Your weight is influenced by more than willpower. Medical history, previous bariatric surgery, appetite regulation, nutrition, sleep, stress, medications, hormonal changes, insulin resistance, and muscle mass can all affect your progress.

Your plan is built around your individual needs—not a predetermined protocol.

    Your care may include:

    Comprehensive Medical Assessment

A detailed review of your weight history, previous treatments, current medications, medical conditions, lifestyle, goals, and barriers.

    Bariatric Journey Review

For postoperative patients, we assess your surgery history, lowest weight, pattern of regain or plateau, appetite changes, nutrition, supplementation, and previous follow-up care.

    Laboratory and Nutritional Review

Evaluation of relevant metabolic markers and potential nutritional deficiencies that may affect your health, energy, and treatment plan.

    Personalized Medication Strategy

GLP-1 or non-GLP-1 prescription options may be considered based on your medical history, goals, previous treatment response, and clinical eligibility.

    Nutrition and Lifestyle Guidance

Realistic recommendations for protein, hydration, movement, muscle preservation, sleep, and sustainable habits—without extreme restrictions or shame-based coaching.

    Ongoing Medical Support

Regular follow-up, medication monitoring, dosage adjustments, progress evaluation, and changes to your plan as your needs evolve.

The goal isn’t simply to help you lose weight. It’s to help you protect your health, preserve your progress, and build a strategy you can sustain.

More Than One Path to Progress

Medication can be a valuable tool, but it should never be the entire program. We’ll discuss the available options, expected benefits, possible side effects, cost, and how each approach fits your medical history.

Your personalized plan may include:

  • GLP-1 or dual-agonist therapies when clinically appropriate

  • Non-GLP-1 prescription weight-management medications

  • Combination medication strategies

  • Support for appetite, cravings, or persistent food noise

  • Treatment adjustments for weight-loss plateaus or regain

  • Bariatric vitamin and nutritional guidance

  • Protein, hydration, and muscle-preservation strategies

  • Cardiometabolic risk-factor management

  • Coordination with your primary care provider, surgeon, or other specialists when needed
