MENOPAUSE CLASS™ • LESSON 07

Okay…Now What?

“I understand what’s happening. So what do I actually do next?”

You've learned about the menopause transition, symptoms you may not have realized were connected, intimate and urinary health, body composition and metabolic changes, treatment options, and the bigger picture of healthy aging.

Now comes the most important part:

What do you do with all of that information?

Because knowing more about menopause is valuable—but knowing how to recognize patterns, communicate your concerns, ask better questions, and participate in decisions about your care is where that knowledge becomes powerful.

In our final lesson, we're bringing everything together.

You'll learn how to track the symptoms that matter to you, prepare for healthcare appointments, communicate what you're experiencing, recognize changes that deserve medical attention, and create a realistic next-step plan for your health.

You don't need to walk into your next appointment knowing exactly what treatment you need.

You just need to walk in better prepared to have the conversation.

By the end of this lesson, you'll understand:

• How to track symptoms without becoming obsessed with every change in your body
• What information can be helpful to bring to a menopause appointment
• How to explain how symptoms are affecting your quality of life, not simply list them
• Questions to ask when discussing hormone therapy or nonhormonal treatment
• Why your medical, surgical, menstrual, medication, and family histories matter
• How to prepare for conversations about bone, cardiovascular, metabolic, intimate, and sexual health
• What to do when you feel like your concerns aren't being adequately addressed
• Why some symptoms should not automatically be attributed to menopause
• Examples of changes that may require prompt or urgent medical evaluation
• How to choose your next one or two priorities instead of trying to fix everything at once
• How to become an informed participant in your healthcare without feeling like you have to become your own clinician

You don't need to know all the answers. You need to know your body, know your questions, and have a healthcare professional willing to listen.

🎓 Final Class Recap

1. Know your story.
Track the symptoms and changes that matter—including how they're affecting your quality of life.

2. Know your questions.
You don't have to walk into an appointment knowing the answer. Come prepared to have an informed conversation about your symptoms, concerns, options, and goals.

3. Know your next step.
You don't have to change everything today. Choose one or two priorities and begin there.

You don't need to know all the answers. You need to know your body, know your questions, and have a healthcare professional willing to listen.

You officially completed Menopause Class™.

Seven lessons later, you know a whole lot more about your body than you did when you walked into class.

You’ve learned how to recognize the menopause transition, understand symptoms that may show up along the way, protect your intimate and metabolic health, make sense of treatment options, think proactively about healthy aging, and prepare for better conversations about your care.

But the most important thing I hope you’re taking with you is this:

Keep asking questions.
Keep paying attention to your body.
Keep advocating for the care you deserve.
And keep taking care of the woman you’re becoming.
